Rule 80
Inter-cooperative transactions
: (1) In accordance with section 140 of the Act, inter-cooperative transactions shall be based on the requirements of the members determined in the regulations of the organizations involved.
(2) The association may coordinate member-level local products to promote inter-cooperative transactions related to value chain development. (3) Various organizations involved in inter-cooperative business may conduct an integrated plan by arranging for the collection, processing and marketing of produce produced by their members through a single organization under the leadership of the lead cooperative.
(4) Cooperative organizations can conduct inter-cooperative transactions through the electronic system in such a way that their members can deposit and withdraw funds from any cooperative organization across Nepal.
(5) In the case of inter-cooperative transactions related to savings and loans, the affiliated cooperative organizations shall follow the criteria specified by the Ministry, specifying the role of the relevant subject association or cooperative bank.
(6) Other arrangements related to inter-cooperative transactions shall be in accordance with the procedures approved by the Ministry.
